CW-401 MkII

Current clamp meter with CAN-Interface

The CW-401 MkII is an extremely precise clamp meter designed for contactless current measurements across the measurement ranges from ±10 A to ±1000 A. Thanks to its premium, user-friendly finish and compact size the clamp meter is particularly suitable for use in difficult conditions and inaccessible places, for example in engine compartments. Intelligent temperature compensation ensures the clamp meter supplies precision measured values even in high ambient temperatures up to +120 °C. This is achieved by digitally processing the measured values in a microprocessor.

User-friendly read out of measured current values via CAN-bus. That allows the measured values to be transmitted interference-free to any desired evaluation unit including over large distances. In conjunction with the CW-101 CAN USB interface it is possible to configure a clamp meter via CAN-bus. That means with the aid of the intuitive configuration software it is very easy to define the output transmission rate, CAN ID, bit rate, mean value generation and more. Moreover, it is possible to configure several clamp meters at the same time and export a DBC file, for example for use in a measuring chain.
