CANWAY has received an order from BMW Brilliance Automotive (BBA) China, a joint-venture between the BMW Group and Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd., to deliver turnkey hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) subsystem test benches to the facilities in China. BBA has placed its trust in CANWAY expertise and services in the field of HiL test benches as well as its ability to manage the entire project.
CANWAY's HiL subsystem test benches are designed as multi-functional systems to test control units produced by different manufacturers, which can be operated as single control units or in groups during the tests. During this project test benches used for chassis and suspension tests provide software support for control units. CANWAY is the general contractor overseeing this order, taking responsibility for coordinating all of the suppliers and overall project management. These responsibilities involve building the HiL subsystem test benches including the installation of CANWAY products from our CW-300 series and the initial start-up with open-loop tests at our facility in Ostbevern, Germany, integrate and perform initial start-up of the control units at the German joint venture partner of the BBA in Munich followed by delivery and final commissioning of the HiL subsystem test benches by members of CANWAY staff at the facility in Shenyang, China.
